Glen King

President and Chief Executive Officer

Glen King
Mr. King is President and Chief Executive Officer of FortisOntario Inc. He has held several leadership roles and has extensive management and financial experience in the utility sector. Before his appointment to his current role, he held the role of Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer since 2005. He joined Fortis Group of Companies in 1995 as the Vice President, Finance with Fortis Trust Corporation. With more than 35 years of experience, Mr. King sits on several Board of Directors, including FortisOntario Inc., Canadian Niagara Power Inc., Cornwall Street Railway, Light and Power Company Limited, Algoma Power Inc., Wataynikaneyap Power GP Inc., Wataynikaneyap Power PM Inc., Fortis (WP) GP Inc., Newfoundland Power and Grimsby Power Inc. Mr. King is community focused and formerly sat on the YMCA of Niagara and on the United Way of Niagara Falls and Fort Erie Boards of Directors.
 
Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

Duane Fecteau

Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer

Duane Fecteau
Mr. Fecteau is Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, and oversees FortisOntario Inc.’s and Wataynikaneyap Power PM’s financial, internal audit, and regulatory functions. Mr. Fecteau has held several leadership roles and has extensive management and financial experience in the utility sector. As Vice President, Finance and CFO of Wataynikaneyap Power PM, he successfully completed a $2.0B financial close for the largest construction project in Fortis Inc.’s history, and the largest Indigenous owned transmission project in Canada’s history. Most recently he held the position of Vice President, Finance and CFO of Wataynikaneyap Power GP, a position which he still holds, and prior to joining the Company in 2017, Mr. Fecteau held key positions with Great Lakes Power Transmission and Brookfield Renewable Power. Mr. Fecteau has more than 30 years of industry experience and is a director of Canadian Niagara Power Inc., Algoma Power Inc., Cornwall Street Railway, Light and Power Company Limited, and Fortis (WP) GP.
 
Mr. Fecteau holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Ottawa and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

Greg Beharriell

Vice President, Operations

Mr. Beharriell has worked in the utility industry for over 19 years, joining the Fortis group of Companies in 2006, starting at Great Lakes Power/Algoma Power Inc. Greg has held a variety of planning, engineering, and technical services roles with Algoma Power, a regulatory management role with Canadian Niagara Power, and served as Director of Operations and Engineering with Wataynikaneyap Power PM. He serves as Vice President, Operations for FortisOntario and Vice President, Operations of Wataynikaneyap Power PM. He is responsible for the FortisOntario Operations group and was involved in the development of the Wataynikaneyap Power Transmission project, refining a department structure to support asset energization and the transition from construction to operations. He also negotiated a connection and operating services agreement with Hydro One and the IESO that recognized Wataynikaneyap's transmission system, ownership, and governance structures. Mr. Beharriell is a director of Cornwall Electric Railway, Light and Power Company.
 
Mr. Beharriell holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lakehead University, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Tim Lavoie

Vice President, Indigenous Relations

Tim Lavoie
Mr. Lavoie brings more than 30 years of utility industry experience spanning Operations, Finance, Corporate Services, Customer Service, and Indigenous Relations. He joined FortisOntario in 2009 following its acquisition of Algoma Power Inc. and has served as Regional Manager; Director, Corporate Development; and Vice President, Corporate Services and Indigenous Relations. In these roles, he oversaw Business Development, Legal, Corporate Services, Indigenous Relations, Human Resources, and Enterprise Technology, and served as Board Secretary. He has also played an instrumental executive role in the Wataynikaneyap Power Transmission Project through its development, construction, and transition to an operating utility. As Vice President, Operations for Wataynikaneyap Power PM, he leads the Operations, Engineering, and Health and Safety teams. 
 
Mr. Lavoie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. He serves on the boards of Westario Power Inc. and Sault Area Hospital.

Kristine Carmichael

Vice President, Corporate Services

Ms. Carmichael serves as Vice President, Corporate Services, with executive oversight of Human Resources, Enterprise Technology, Customer Service, and Communications. In this role, she provides strategic leadership across core corporate functions that support FortisOntario’s operational performance, organizational effectiveness, and employee and customer experience. Her leadership has contributed to several significant organizational initiatives, including an ERP implementation, labour negotiations, and communications supporting the Wataynikaneyap Power Project.
 
Over her 30-year tenure with the Company, Ms. Carmichael has held a range of senior leadership roles and has been instrumental in aligning people, technology, and communications strategies with evolving business priorities. She is recognized for building high-performing teams, advancing practical and effective solutions, and fostering a service-oriented culture that supports employees, customers, and the broader organization.
 
Ms. Carmichael serves on the Cornwall Electric Board of Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brock University, and an Executive MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
 
She is also active in the Niagara community, with a particular commitment to initiatives supporting the United Way.
